Oakland McAfee Coliseum

Home to the Oakland Athletics baseball team and Oakland Raiders football team, the Oakland McAfee Coliseum was opened in 1966 and features a unique underground design with a playing surface that is constructed below ground level. A hill that was built around the stadium to create the upper concourse disguises the actual size of the stadium, leaving only the third deck visible from outside the park, and giving the Coliseum a low profile from the outside. Oakland Oracle Arena. The Oakland Arena was opened on November 9, 1966. The arena got a major facelift in June 1996 with its $100 million renovation that demolished the building’s core replacing it with a more modern interior with state-of-the-art electronics, and the addition of 4,000 seats, 72 luxury suites, three exclusive clubs spaces. Home to the Golden State Warriors basketball team, the Oracle Arena has also hosted the Cal Golden Bears, the Bay Bombers Roller Hockey Team, the California Golden Seals hockey team, and the Oakland Skates roller hockey team.
